National Scholastic Gold Medal
I have many fond memories of the experience of having the opportunity to participate in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards as a young man about to enter college. To win the National Gold Medal Award in Sculpture and have the piece displayed in the Modern Museum of New York, is an achievement that I will aspire to replicate
throughout the rest of my life.
The powers to be at the time at school elected to keep my award secret with a hidden agenda. Unfortunately I was never able to view my work in the Modern Museum yet; to my complete dismay and surprise, and to the applause of a standing ovation I was honored for my personal expression, and achievement at the graduation ceremony. An act of creativity, followed by a sense of accomplishment that seemed to quantify for me that to have talent was something to be nurtured, developed and thankful for the blessing bestowed upon me.
I encourage anyone who may have that artistic inspiration to follow it, embrace it, and take the path less traveled, for it may lead to the truth as to who you are.

I would entertain any interested party, or individual who may want to invest in the Bronze casting, sale, and distribution of this sculpture to the public for purchase in a limited edition presentation. Interested....call me.
